We provide timely services for the correction, remediation, and restoration of both degraded sites and sites under a Notice of Violation from regulatory agencies.
These sites can possess Protected Natural Resources as defined under Maine's NATURAL RESOURCE PROTECTION ACT and the U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS jurisdiction from Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.; for example:
- Shoreland Zoning - coastal, riverine, lake, and wetland resources
- Wetlands - including Wetlands of Special Significance as defined under Maine's NATURAL RESOURCE PROTECTION ACT
- Streams
- Vernal pools
A stream and shoreland zone restoration project PLAN in PDF format (size is 2.1 MB) shows several of the criteria necessary for regulatory approval of a violation.

|
| Shoreland Zone with non-functioning "sand fence" and metal barrels |
Gravel pit excavated below the seasonal high water table, which requires special permitting |
Uncontrolled fill area without erosion and sedimentation control |

|
| NRPA stream located at bottom of photo (this is the dry season so flow is low) |
After the Permit By Rule (PBR) tamarack wooden bridge is finished |
1 year after bridge construction |
